Who is David Bosshart?
David Bosshart is a distinguished authority on the retail sector who knows Turkey well; having obtained his first degree in Management, he then finished his Doctorate at the Zurich University in Philosophy and Political Science. He has conducted academic research on marketing, retail trade and customer behaviour and has led consulting projects.
1991- 96: Led the GDI Customer Research and Social Change Department. 1997- 99: Managed the Migros Switzerland Strategic Growth Department 1999-to date: Head of GDI.
Bosshart has lectured at numerous international conferences and shared his views at the session entitled ‘Are Brands Today’s Gods?’ at the Open Forum Davos 2007. In addition to his eight books, he has published numerous research papers on the dynamics of retail, management and customer behaviour.
